His vast legal experience includes over 30 years of service with the firm.
He further served as senior legal counsel and head of civil litigation of national flag carrier Philippine Airlines, Unicef national adviser on Philippine juvenile justice reform, Philippine legal specialist on insolvency, corporate bankruptcy and rehabilitation for a Philippine-US-World Bank-IMF financial sector reform and SEC capacity-building project that drafted the country's first-ever rules on corporate recovery, law reform specialist and OIC of the University of the Philippines Institute of Human Rights where he advised the operationalization of the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples, professor of constitutional law, public international law, international human rights, and legal ethics in leading law schools, and founding dean of the Ateneo de Naga University College of Law whose pioneer batch achieved a 100% bar exams passing rate.
He recently participated in the select 2025 Paris Arbitration Week in Paris, France, the world's leading hub for international arbitration.
